Click on the link to watch an art video from BBC Bitesize on how to create a landscape collage. The once in the video thinks about showing a journey from a town or city to the country but we wondered if you could show the village where the Ballerina lives in the tower. You don’t need any special materials, just paper or card and some fabric scraps, in fact anything you might find at home. You can choose to glue it down or just arrange the shapes and then take a photo. Here are a few more ideas…

…coloured pages torn from magazines (make sure it’s one you can cut up first)

…packaging like bubble wrap, scumpled brown paper

…fruit nets from the supermarket and any other type of supermarket packaging

…cereal boxes turned around (like I showed you before on the ‘make it’ video

…old t-shirts (please ask first) adn wool scraps

…tin foil and sweet wrappers

…twigs, leaves and pretty things from the garden (again, make sure you ask).

In fact anything that looks useful!
